Ideally candidates should hold a relevant qualification within cooking/hospitality/catering. Within this busy environment the individual will also be compliant with food safety legislation and to maintain an overall clean working area suitable for food preparation. Naturally you will work with other volunteers / staff members on a daily basis within the Centre. HOW TO GET INVOLVED: You should contact Hazel King at the Marie Trust either by phone or email and leave your postal address so an information and application pack can be posted out. If you do not receive a response within 7 working days please contact the Glasgow Volunteer Centre. Once you have submitted a completed application form you will be asked to attend an interview. How soon you can start volunteering will depend on how quickly you return application forms. It is estimated it may take 3-4 weeks.
