About Opportunity
As part of our ongoing development we are looking for a small group of individuals who are interested in organising a minimum of two fundraising events a year for you local CAB. We already have a couple of dedicated individuals but we would really like to get a strong group of dedicated people who enjoy planning events, the buzz of a busy and successful day and who know how to have fun. The role isn't a regular one so the hours would vary a lot from very little one month to full days possibly evenings around the time of any events. As the group has yet to be formed there is no set time of day for meetings to take place, therefore we would be very flexible

About Ross and Cromarty Citizens Advice Bureau
The aims of the CAB are to ensure that no one suffers from lack of knowledge or prejudice, and to lobby local and national governement about aspects of social injustice. The CAB provides free and confidential advice on a huge range of topics ranging from housing, benefits, the law, money problems and welfare rights issues. If the CAB can't provide the answer, they know who can.
Skills & Experience
We are looking for people who don't perhaps have a regular amount of time to commit but who understand the work of the CAB and the difference it can make and so still want to be involved. They would be dedicated, committed, organised but imaginative with a bit of get-up-and-go. As the task of each member of the group would potentially be very different we would welcome a variety of back grounds, skill sets and abilities. Enthusiasm will be for us the main consideration.
