About Opportunity

We need volunteers to help at stroke group meetings.

Volunteers will assist the coordinator in setting up the room and group activities and will welcome and help seat members on arrival.

The volunteer will also help in preparing refreshments, food handling, clearing tables and washing and drying dishes.

All necessary training will be provided by Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland and all volunteers will be supported by their local coordinator.

Chest, Heart and Stroke Scotland  - Working Together for a Healthier Future.

All funds raised through our events stay in Scotland and helps us to continue our support services for people and families affected by the conditions. This includes our 86 volunteer stroke services, 24 stroke support team workers and 97 local chest, heart and stroke clubs across the nation.
Currently we are supporting more than 10,000 people and their families in communities across Scotland - directly improving their quality of life.
