About Opportunity
The Debate Project aims to improve the care system by empowering young people to use their voice to make a positive change and to give them opportunities to work together, build new friendships and make a difference. We are a group of young people who have personal experience of the care system. We come together for weekly meetings based in the West end of Glasgow. We are trying to approach other care leavers across Scotland. The Debate Project covers a wide range of opportunities designed to promote young people's events, workshops, training for people who work with care leavers and public speaking. We are always looking for creative ways to develop activities which include film and art. We also like to have nights out including eating out, cinema and go-karting. **HOW DO I GET INVOLVED?** If you are interested in this opportunity please get in touch with us using the contact details on this page. Alternatively you can register your interest directly using the Register Interest facility.
