About Opportunity
To represent the charity at external events & functions including cheque presentations, information stands, gala days, bucket collections & seasonal fairs. Travelling throughout Scotland, dependant on where the event is, to represent the Foundation in a professional & courteous manner. Duties include accepting donations from the public, transporting fundraising materials, responsability for cash handling & setting up or desmantling information & awareness stands. Yorkhill Children’s Foundation raise funds to provide the ‘extra’ services and equipment which are of benefit to the 157,000 sick children and babies from throughout Scotland who receive treatment at Yorkhill Hospital and within NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde every year.
