About Opportunity
Dumfries market trades from 9am to 5pm each Saturday. The market company has donated a market stall to Mossburn Community Farm and this stall will be erected by the company each Saturday. We seek to recruit a small team of 3-4 people who can staff the stall on a rota basis. The volunteers will not have to erect the stall. They will require to set up the stall around 8.30 am and then pack away any remaining stock around 4.30pm. Mossburn will provide the stock to sell. Volunteers will be asked to display the items, sell them, distribute any leaflets etc, and keep any cash raised safely and pass it to a Mossburn representative for banking. An accounts book will be provided to record sales, donations, etc. Light refreshments can be provided during the day.
