About Opportunity
Assistant Leader required to support the Leader of one of our setions e.g. Beaver Scouts, Cub Scouts, Scouts or Explorer Scouts to plan and deliver a balanced programme. This might include running games, activities, crafts, collecting membership fees or assisiting with outings. If you're practical and particularly like doing things outdoors or camping this could be right up your street. Successful candidates will consider the needs, interests and abilities of the younger members when planning and encourage Scouts of all ages to participate in residential events and excursions and to make progess through the badge work; all within requirements and appropriate rules of the association.

Frequency & Commitment
Volunteers sought to get involved with one of three Cub Packs that are part of Penicuik Scout Group. The Packs meet on a Monday, Wednesday and Thursday evening. Cub Packs are for children aged 8-10 years old.
Volunteers can get involved in one Pack on a weekly or fortnightly basis.
Minimum Age
Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age.
