About Opportunity

Help to welcome patients and visitors to Stobhill Hospital; man reception desk and offer information on services and directions to facilities. Ensuring visitors feel at ease and providing any assistance including escorting visitors to wards and clinics. Help to welcome patients, relatives and visitors to Stobhill Hospital. This is a vital role in a health care setting. Volunteers will gain experience in providing information about the hospital, its facilities and giving directions to clinics and wards. An important part of this role will be chatting to people and putting them at ease as well as escorting those who need more support to clinics. This is a good opportunity to develop your communication and interpersonal skills and to meet and work closely with a range of people in a professional manner. Volunteers will man a reception desk and record and collate information. Restrictions

volunteers need to be mature enough to be able to deal with people who may be upset and people under this age may not be skilled enough to do this comfortably.
