About Opportunity

We need enthusiastic people to help look after our garden. If you could spare 2 hours a week to do some planting, cutting and growing with only the odd weeding session. This is a large area with raised beds, pergola, orchard and vegetable beds all needing a little care and attention. Tea/coffee and biscuits supplied!

About Loanhead Community Learning Centre

Loanhead Community Learning Association promotes educational, social welfare and recreational opportunities for people of all ages and abilities including families, young people and children within Loanhead and the surrounding villages. The organisation also supports and maximises the role of volunteers in the work of the centre and proactively ensures marginalised groups (i.e. disabled people, people on low income and lone parent families) have priority access to the centre and its services.

An interest in gradening and the environment and a sense of humour.

Travel Details

In the grounds of the Centre at 5 Mayburn Walk, Loanhead. Ample car parking available and bus routes nearby. Lothian buses 37 & 40.
