About Opportunity

The groups are involved in a wide range of activities including Arts & Crafts, Drama, Drumming, Baking, Tea Dances, Ceilidh Dancing, Keep Fit,Cycling, Karaoke, Football and Walking. **HOW DO I GET INVOLVED?** If you are interested in this opportunity please get in touch with us using the contact details on this page. About Community Lifestyles
Lifestyles works with people in the community who have a learning difficulty, physical disability or mental ill health. We build meaningful relationships with the individual person and then, in conjunction with them and their existing support networks, consider the design of support arrangement that would meet their requirements. We value person centred methods in our approach to working with people and build services around people and adhere to the principles as set out in Same As You and the National Care Standards.
Skills & Experience
All volunteers must have a genuine interest in working with people. A commitment to treating service users with dignity and respect and to be consistent and reliable in relation to the arrangements you make is crucial. No previous experience is necessary as an induction and training will be given as required.
