About Opportunity
Collect Luton sized van from appointed van hire in Inverness. Drive to mobility scooter store. Load scooters using tail lift into van. Drive van to appointed venue - unload. Accompany disabled, semi disabled, carers, volunteers on a ramble of 3 - 4 miles. Load scooters for return procedure, top up van with diesel return van to van hire. A ramble lasts 2-3 hours including a lunch stop. Suit retired volunteers who need to become members of Highland Disabled Ramblers at a cost of £15.

About Highland Disabled Ramblers
To enable disabled people to enjoy rambles in the outdoors in the companionship of other disabled and able-bodied members. We provide electric scooters for use on our programmed walks.

Phisically fit, calm, methodical, friendly, experienced, empathy with disabled, flexible in working.
Travel Details
Within a 50 mile radius of Inverness.
Restrictions
Experience of van driving essential.

Training and Induction Details
Use of mobility scooter + 'dry' run of days activities. First Aid Evacuation of casualty (possibly) Support at every event. Non disabled person so no need for disabled toliets of disabled access.

11 events a year (1 - 2 / Month) 8.30 - 4.30 (Approx). Not needed for all events - maybe 6 or 7. Rambles occur on any one of these days.
