About Opportunity

Spend one day or evening every 2 months in a large group putting up posters and handling in leaflets in your local area. Or we can post fundraising materials and you can distribute them at a time to suit you. The knowledge that you have made a difference to the lives of children, young people and their families. When we have a fundraising event we need to get the word out to recruit participants. You are providing us with vital support and raising awareness of issues such as child neglect. Opportunity to have fun and meet new people, a chance to work as part of a friendly and supportive team.

About Action for Children (Fundraising)

NCH Scotland is one of the leading children's charities in Scotland. We support over 6000 of the most vulnerable children, young people and their families at 64 projects across Scotland so that they have the opportunity to reach their full potential.

Some examples of the children and families we help are: ... Family Centres - Supporting families living in some of the most deprived areas in Scotland; ... Respite Care - Providing vital support to disabled children and their families; ... Young Carers - Giving a childhood back to children who look after sick or disabled parents; ... Homelessness - Young people who are roofless or homeless.

Tenacious and willing to get out and about to raise awareness and help promote events.
