When We Need You

From 09/12/2010 onwards

About Opportunity

We need enthusiastic and trustworthy volunteers from all walks of life to work at our two busy and vibrant Youth Clubs on Monday and Tuesday evenings. They are both safe and friendly environments for children to have fun, make new friends and try new things. The clubs are run by the Station Youth Worker, Sessional Staff and volunteers. Staff and volunteers deliver an eclectic programme ranging from sports, dancing, crafts and smoothie making, to trips out and visits from organisations like the RNLI and RAF Fire Brigade. Volunteers assist in all aspects of the club from collecting tuck shop money to designing the programme and running activities. We do not expect you to do it all straight away though! We welcome experienced volunteers bringing their own skills to the Youth Club, as well as those volunteers seeking to gain new skills.
