About Action for Children

To include volunteers in the work of Action for Children, assisting the fundraising staff to raise awareness of the work we do, and funds to support the local children's services. We work with children in four ways:- with ones who cannot stay at home, with their families who need support, those who are disabled, those who experience severe difficulties in their lives.

Skills & Experience

Ideally outgoing personality to help talk to people and a good conscientious character who will take notes and pass on details of people who want to know more about us etc. They will be responsible for handling money in the boxes to us and so trustworthiness is paramount.

Training and Induction Details

welcome at the office, induction on the organisation and the role. Training if necessary in the role and ongoing support from immediate line manager.
