Policy Researcher to help formulate new services.

When We Need You

From 19/10/2010 onwards

About Opportunity

This position is possibly the drive engine for expansion of services we already provide but also the kick start for new services that are going to be needed to deal with the very fluid situation the volunteer section finds itself in at this very difficult time with all the cuts that are being spoken about. While we cannot provide finances to improve an individuals situation, if we can identify trends before they become policy we may be able to put in place new services that can make the situation better. If we come up with services that we can show to be cheaper to provide than the local authority, thus saving the local authority money while at the same time ensuring people don't lose services they depend on to survive. Part of the responsibility of this position is to provide briefing papers when local and central government announce new policies.
