About Opportunity

You will be part of a team of volunteers, and as a 'novice' adviser, you will receive assistance and support while you consolidate your training. A general adviser uses the GS2 CAB information system, and other available books, to advise clients, on whatever topic they need information on. Volunteers must be able to use a computer to type short reports and access information.

Training and Induction Details

1. 13 (2 x hour) sessions on a range of topics, most commonly raised by clients. 2. In bureau training - shadowing, observing, assisted interviews. 3. On-going training sessions, information up-grades.

Expenses for public/*private transport is paid weekly. Parking charges and childcare can also be paid for. *Claimable distance is up to 20 miles for all those resident outwith a 1 mile radius of Inverness, mileage rate is 20p/per mile.
