About Opportunity
As a committee member you will organise a range of fundraising events from collections to functions as part of a team. You will brainstorm new and exciting ways to raise funds and to promote the charity. There will be the opportunity to gain event development and management skills by taking part in tasks such as sourcing venues for your events and approaching guest speakers. Committee memebers wil be given control of their committee and will be asisted by Scotland's Volunteer Fundraising Manager.
About Muscular Dystrophy Campaign
The Muscular Dystrophy Campaign is the only UK charity to fund research into all kinds of muscle disease. We provide free emotional support to families living with muscle disease, award grants towards the cost of equipment such as powered wheelchairs, campaign to raise awareness and bring about change and fund research int treatments and cures for the 70,000 people living in the UK with Muscular Dystrophy or a related condition.
