About Opportunity

Peer Support Volunteers will draw on their own personal experience of mental health problems and volunteering, to support others to achieve a successful volunteering placement. Peer Support Volunteers will have understanding about the fears and doubts about becoming a volunteer and the issues that may cause concern. They will be passionate about volunteering and the benefits that can be gained from it. They will have the ability to offer the necessary support to enable others to succeed in becoming a volunteer. A new exciting development in the work of the Support into Volunteering Project.
