About Opportunity
Fairview School is looking for applications from people (16+) to be involved in their 'Community Links' Project. Volunteers can play a significant role in young people's lives by supporting individuals to access groups, projects, opportunities and experiences in their local area. Supporting young people with learning disabilities could benefit volunteers in many ways, such as - learning new skills, trying something new, doing something different etc.

About Fairview School
To support young people 7-17 with learning disabilities/complex needs, from various areas in Perth and Kinross, into accessing community based activities, this could include youth groups, sports / arts activities, etc.
Skills & Experience
- A person-centred, non judgemental attitude to working with people would be required - Experienced in working with people in a supportive manner would be great but not necessary - Good communication skills would be important - It would be beneficial to be confident, thoughtful and be able to work through a challenging situation if it arises

The young person lives in Kinross. Travel details could be discussed.
