About Spectrum Club (The) - Scotland
Young people with an autistic spectrum disorder tend to be socially isolated due to their difficulties with social communication. The club can address this through common interest assisted activities. This raises self-esteem and confidence, which allows them to gradually take more part in community and ensures a better quality of life.
Skills & Experience
A relaxed demeanour and an open mind. An interest in psychology, and what makes people tick, would be helpful.
