About Opportunity
The Community Development Team run ESOL classes for learners whose first language is not English. Volunteer ESOL tutors can provide in-class support to learners in ESOL groups or teach ESOL learners with specific needs on a one-to-one basis. At this time new volunteers will go on a waiting list until volunteer positions open up.

Skills & Experience
We would like to meet people with excellent interpersonal skills and very good oral and written communication skills. We are looking for individuals with an open and non-judgemental attitude. Previous experience in teaching would be an advantage.
Travel Details
The classes run North Ayrshire wide and volunteers are entitled to travel expenses to and from classes or training. At this time new volunteers will go on a waiting list until volunteer positions open up.
