About Opportunity

This vital role is about raising the profile of the charity and awareness of heart diseases within schools, colleges and/or nurseries by giving short presentations about our work and the importance of healthy lifestyles. You will build up strong relationships with teachers and PE co-ordinators at schools within your agreed area.

We need to share our vision because, together, we really can beat heart disease.

Skills & Experience

Friendly, outgoing, empathetic towards children and young people. No prior knowledge of heart disease is needed as training will be given. Strong communication skills and ability to communicate over the phone and face - face.

You will volunteer within you local area

BHF have strong aims and it is important that the volunteer is a non-smoker
