Emergency fundraisers are supporters who will drop everything to help raise funds when an emergency hits. Every volunteer receives an emergency fundraising kit and as soon as the next emergency strikes, we will alert them to the disaster. They will then be tasked to fundraise as much as they can, as fast as they can, enabling us to react quickly on the ground and save children’s lives. Our emergency fundraisers help in two different ways: • Faster than a speeding bullet: Leap into action as soon as a disaster strikes to bring in funds quickly e.g. collect money in stations, schools, supermarkets; hold non-uniform days or a marathon music event.. • Super sure planner: Help keep our emergency funds primed and ready for action by planning ahead. Take 1-2 months to organise a fundraising event for a specific appeal,. Organise something big and impactful, like a fashion show or festival. Save the Children is the world’s independent children’s charity. We’re outraged that millions of children are still denied proper healthcare, food, education and protection. We’re working flat out to get every child their rights and we’re determined to make further, faster changes. How many? How fast? It’s up to you.
