About Opportunity
We are looking for someone to lead the Company Section boys with a varied programme of activities ranging from Badminton, Athletics, Drill, Table Tennis, Cross Country, Football, Badge work, Camping, First Aid, Christian Faith, Cricket and Physical activities (e.g vaulting). The leader would have a volunteer staff of 4/5 BB trained young Officers and a Parent helper for our Friday night activities. Involvement at Cathkin District, Glasgow Battalion and BB National level further extends the opportunities for the Boys and Staff to be exposed to the wider BB family. Our aim is for all the boys to gain their Queen’s Badge – the highest award they can achieve in the BB - and our programme is designed to achieve that aim. Activities are spread over the week and week-ends and not just confined to the Fr4iday parade nights. HOW DO YOU GET INVOLVED? If you are interested in this opportunity please get in touch with us using the contact details on this page. Alternatively you can register your interest directly using the Register Interest facility. If you do not receive a response within [5] working days, please contact the Volunteer Centre. [The next step is to make arrangements to meet for an interview.] It generally takes around [4 – 6 weeks] after you contact us to get you started.
