When We Need You
From 10/02/2012 to 05/06/2013
Friendly, enthusiastic and reliable volunteers needed to help out in our unique and much-loved charity shop in Tollcross. You can bring a little creative flair to our shop by using our donated stock to create eye-catching displays both on the shop floor and the window to entice customers. You will be able to gain valuable experience whilst meeting new people and helping to raise funds and awareness for our charity. As one of our sales assistants, you will become part of a small team of dedicated volunteers who help with the day to day running of our shop. Your duties will include operating a till and handling cash and card transactions, receiving and encouraging donations from new and existing donors, promoting our charity and the work we do to customers, preparing, tagging and pricing stock, helping to prevent loss of stock, rotating and removing older items of stock regularly.
