About Opportunity

Ross-shire Womens Aid run two weekly women's groups for women with experience of domestic abuse. These groups aim to help women moving on from domestic abuse to help develop life skills, emotional intelligence, assertiveness and self-esteem. This opportunity will allow interested individuals to develop their group work skills, by helping to co-facilitate a women's group. We organise a programme of events for these groups on a regular basis; this can involve having external facilitators providing an input, Women's Aid workers and volunteers providing input or organising activities. We are looking to provide these group work opportunities in other areas in the region we cover. We will require someone who will be available to facilitate these groups on a regular basis.
