About Opportunity
We are looking for energetic & enthusiastic people to volunteer in our charity shops. You will help our shops to stand out from high street chains by making them friendly, welcoming & attractive places, stocking an excellent range of unique & well priced stock. Your role will be varied & interesting & you will work with a team of dedicated & professional volunteers to help raise money to change the lives of children worldwide. The role involves: Building the reputation of the shop in the local area, helping to make the shop a friendly & welcoming place, sorting, sizing & pricing donations for sale on shop floor, displaying items in shop in attractive, customer friendly way, helping to create eye-catching window displays, interacting with customers, operating the till & packaging purchases, working with other team members to think of creative ways to maximise sales, you will get the chance to meet lots of new people, all the training & support you will need. Opportunity to use your skills to raise money for our work with children worldwide, experience in retail & marketing. The opportunity to share your skiills & experience, challenge of working as part of a team of dedicated volunteers to make sure the shop is a success. HOW DO YOU GET INVOLVED? Skills & Experience
A passion to help children & make a difference through giving your time, enjoy working as part of a team, have good organisational skills, have a good sense of business & experience of working in a shop & or creativity to think of ways to increase profits would be a useful addition.
