About Opportunity
The Disability Community is a friendly welcoming environment. The oganisation has a track record of supporting and involving volunteers. There is a Cafe, a Lunch Club and also Cook and Care Meals home delivery service. Duties of a Kitchen Helper mainly include dishwashing ( we have a dishwasher), cleaning and stocking fridges and maintaining kitchen hygiene. HOW DO YOU GET INVOLVED? You should contact us ideally by phone using the contact details on the right/select the APPLY! button, where we will arrange a time for you to come for an informal chat during which we will give you a welcome pack filled with information about our organisation. If you do not receive a response within 2 working days, please contact the Volunteer Centre. It generally takes around 1 week after you contact us to get you started.
