About Opportunity
The Disability Community is a friendly welcoming environment with a track record of supporting volunteers. We have a programme of activities running from Mon-Fri each week. We run a lunch club for local residents and a hot meal delivery service. There is also a youth club for 16+ with learning disabilities and a cafeteria which is open to the public. The kitchen is a busy working kitchen and the volunteer will require to be physically able to cope with the environment which could involve standing for longer periods of time. The volunteer will be working under the instruction and supervision of the cook.

It is essential that prospective volunteers wil had had previous food handling / preparation experience gained in a in a busy catering . We are looking for someone who is physically able to cope in a busy kitchen
