About Opportunity

The Brunswick Centre runs clubs for young people aged 8-12 on a Monday and Wednesday from 5-7pm, and for youth aged 13-19 from Monday to Thursday from 7-9pm. During this time, we try to offer them a range of activities, from sports to arts and trips on occasion, to keep them off the streets, and to educate them, and introduce things to them that they may not otherwise have the opportunity to try. To this end, we have supplied the centre with a range of materials, from computers to pool tables, to a multi-purpose gym for the young people to enjoy. We are always looking for leaders willing to share a special skill, or just to join in with them as they utilise the centre, or enjoy a trip we have planned. HOW DO YOU GET INVOLVED? You should contact the Brunswick Centre for an application pack ideally by phone using the contact details on the right/REGISTER INTEREST button below. If you do not receive a response within 5 working days please contact the Volunteer Centre. After submitting the application form, there will be an informal chat. It generally takes around 4 weeks after you contact us to get you started.
