About Opportunity
Volunteers will be involved in a range of tasks to help run the lunch club and providing support for the service users. The club runs every Wednesday from 12-4pm in the Brechin Bar pub across the road from the Pearce Institute, with lunch followed by karaoke and bingo. The role gives volunteers valuable experience of working with people with learning disabilities. Previous experience is not necessary although all practical skills are valued and volunteers must have a genuine interest in helping people. HOW TO GET INVOLVED: If you are interested in this opportunity please get in touch with us using the contact details on this page. Alternatively you can register your interest directly using the Register Interest facility. If you do not receive a response within 7 working days, please contact the Volunteer Centre. We will then arrange for you to attend a Volunteer Information Session. It generally takes around 5-6 weeeks after you contact us to get you started volunteering.
