About Opportunity
Supporter groups are a key part of Save the Children, representing the charity in their communities. As a supporter group member you can tailor your role to suit your interests and skills. Each group has several roles including a group co-ordinator, treasurer, press officer and more. It’s really flexible, you only need to give a couple of hours a week. Meetings happen in the evening, so they won't clash with your job or daytime activities. We’re looking dynamic people ready to put their creative ideas into practice. Organising and staging events is a great way to use and evelop different skills, meet new people and have fun! HOW DO YOU GET INVOLVED? You should contact us ideally by telephone, drop in and see us, write to us or email [using the contact details on the right/select the APPLY! button]. If you do not receive a response within [7] working days, please contact the Volunteer Centre. [The next step is to make arrangements for an application form to be sent by email.] It generally takes around [4 – 6 weeks] after you contact us to get you started.
