In Memoriam donations are usally made by friends or faily in lieu of flowers at a funeral. The Gift of Hope Fund is an ongoing tribute fund usually set up by the family of a loved one who has passed away to remember them. This vital role is about promoting the importance of In Memoriam donations and the Gift of Hope to the work of the charity. You will be the local contact for In Memoriam donations, the role will inolve: Visiting funeral directors in your area, and being their point of contact with the charity. Building up a relationship with your funeral directors to help them understand the difference In Memoriam donations make to the charity, and how the money is spent. Delivering materials (Leaflets, envelopes etc) to funeral directors. Collecting and banking in Memoriam donations from funeral directors. Writing to bereaved families to acknowledge and thank them for their donations.
