About Opportunity

We will give you all the skills necessary to give talks in your local community on behalf of Bowel Cancer UK. You will be part of a friendly, enthusiastic and motivated team and you will be making a real difference to a charity that aims to provide information on bowel cancer to the nation. You will learn how to communicate to different groups of people, we will train you in presentation skills, you might already have relevant presentation skills that you could bring on board. The awareness talks would take place to groups such as Age Concern, Rotary, workplaces and at community events such as farmers markets, healthy living days and mens health week events. Training and Induction Details

An induction to the charity, the volunteering role, BCUK’s policies and the volunteer handbook will be given as soon after the volunteer has applied for an opportunity as possible. Initial training will consist of attending a weekend training event.
