About Opportunity

Buddies are volunteers who come from a wide range of backgrounds and bring differing life experiences. They share a desire to offer dedicated 1:1 support to people living with an HIV or Hep C diagnosis, recognising that stigma and discrimination can result in people living with a high degree of social and emotional isolation. Buddies offer companionship, social contact and practical support in the context of an open, honest and consistent befriending relationship.
