About Opportunity

This is a new educational project from the BRC as, in response to the latest developments in education for citizenship, schools are requesting support. To respond effectively and share our humanitarian message we need new volunteers and we will provide them with the skills and knowledge to deliver talks in schools.

About British Red Cross

The British Red Cross works in communities to provide services which give skilled care to those in crisis, on a day-to-day basis. They offer help with any number of tasks that are needed within a community. In Bute the British Red Cross provides the following services: First Aid Training, Medical Loan, Emergency Response, Transport and Escort, Home from Hospital Service, Therapeutic hand massage, Skin Camouflage, International tracing and message services .

Skills & Experience

We need outgoing individuals who enjoy working with young people, can modify/update talks, who want to make a difference. Training is given in humanitarianism, BRC, presentation/facilitation. You will be giving a toolkit for the talks and local support.
