About Opportunity
A variety of fund raising activities are required. This can range from applications to organisations and other charities to fun activities that the members can participate in and enjoy the team work involved. Ideas may be required and knowledge of successful fund raising activities would be useful.
About Youth Under Focus - First
Youth Under Focus First (YUF-F) is an independent community group based in Stirling who raises funds solely to provide activities for overweight and obese young people and their families to help them become fitter, lose weight and feel better about themselves. The group is looking for volunteers with a keen interest in sports and activities allowing the children to experience new things, additionally leading to improved fitness, self-esteem and confidence levels. Volunteers should have an interest gaining experience working with children who have variety of social issues. All activities should be fun and competition kept to a minimum emphasising team-building and confidence building.
Skills & Experience
Motivated by helping people develop new skills, confidence and experience. Organisational & fund raising skills very beneficial.
Travel Details
Currently based at Forthbank Stadium. Transport from Cornton, Central Stirling area will be available soon. Sessions in Wallace High School also organised. Fund raising can be throughout Forth Valley.
