About Opportunity

The volunteer will be part of a team who staff the shop/cafe which is the front of house part of An Tobar. They will be responsible for selling goods and light snacks. They will need to cash up at the end of their shift and ensure monies are securely stored.

Enhancing Skills-The centre aims 2 build partnerships between performers,artists,technicians&all sectors of the community,giving the chance 4 local people 2 work&learn alongside established professionals,thus enhancing the professionalism of local practitioners&helping 2 realise the goals of participants. Stimulating Tourism-By extension,An Tobar aims 2 stimulate tourism & enhance visitors' experiences on the islands by providing a compelling&authentic environment in which 2 gain insight into the cultural&artististic life of the community

Training and Induction Details

Induction into the workings of the organisation. Opportunity to meet staff and other volunteers. Regular meetings to discuss progress/problems.
