Fibromyalgia is a soft tissue condition which affects muscles and has various side affects, this is something that can sometimes make the sufferers housebound. Volunteers are required for various elements of support, including helping with awareness raising, driving, distributing information, contacting the housebound, and helping with various other duties in making the group operational.

About FMA UK Wishaw Act Fast
FMA UK aims to raise awareness of and support people who suffer from Fibromyalgia, a soft tissue disease. The group also aims to distribute information on the condition across the local area.
Skills & Experience
No specific skills or experience required, but a knowledge of Fibromyalgia would be helpful. More important is an energy and drive to be able to help people who suffer from the condition, and have a desire to help set up a support group for the local area
Travel Details
Volunteering would take place across the Wishaw and Motherwell area, no set premises for the group has been identified as yet.
