About Opportunity
Volunteers - preferably between the ages of 18 & 30 years either to have epilepsy or a close relative whom they support. Volunteers are expected to participate fully in comprehensive training which includes epilepsy issues, counselling skills & practice, bullying, family dynamics etc. The training must be completed to an acceptable standar - (assessed) training provided by Quarriers & Childline. Telecommunication skills will also be covered. Volunteers expected to provide support and information in an empathetic and professional manner. Paricipation supervsion both formally and informally - to participate in a minimum of one session per week.
