About Opportunity
Volunteers are required to assist staff in the day-to-day running of day centres serving teas and meals and general housekeeping duties. Volunteers also assist members in a range of activities from quizzes to crafts. Our day centres are very friendly and informal and having a laugh and a blether is the most important part of the day.

Skills & Experience
Previous experience of working with older people is preferred though not essential. Volunteers must be patient with a good sense of humour.

Training and Induction Details
Volunteers are matched with a buddy, who is an experienced volunteer, during the induction period. Ongoing training opportunities are tailored to suit. individual needs.
