About Opportunity
Providing respite care of people with disabilities giving normal carers a rest. It is a flexible service designed to meet each individuals needs and the needs of the family. Social Work Dept matches suitable carers to families who wish to use the service. A meeting is held to let everyone involved get to know each other and Shared Care breaks are then arranged.

About Shared Care Scheme
Giving families a break by providing care in a family setting for children and adults with a learning or physical disability. This could be for an occassional overnight stay, a weekend visit or a holiday.
