About Opportunity
Duties : The passenger assistant travels on the vehicle and is under the direction of the driver to help passengers on and off the vehicle as well as checking fares or travel cards. They would also help to load shopping on the vehicle and carry it to the passenger's house at the end of the journey. They may also assist with the fixing of the wheelchairs and ensure passengers are wearing seatbelts. A full Passenger Assistant Training Course is available as well as on Vehicle Supervision. This is a very worth while post which brings you into contact with the less able members of public who really appreciate a 'helping hand' with tasks we normally take for granted. It is a great chance to make friends whilst helping others to live a full and active life.
