About Perth Accesscars

We are a non profit making charity who provide transport manned by volunteer drivers for the disabled and housebound. We have been in existence for the past 20 years. We have a fleet of 5 cars and a mini bus which takes 15 people. All our vehicles are fitted with hydraulic ramps. Aims: to give mobility to the local people.Most fit and healthy people take mobility for granted. Going walking or travelling by public transport does not give them a second thought. But for many people confined to their homes or hospital ward because of disablement a car or coach trip is the kind of mobility they require. Our drivers cover the length and breadth of Scotland and have gone so far as St.Annes in England. The service is available 7 days a week and 365 days a year. We rely on volunteer drivers. At present we have a pool of 19 drivers but we rely very heavily on a core of five or six who generously give a considerable amount of their time to our service.

Skills & Experience

clean driving licence and a caring nature Confident and able to inspire confidence in service users.
