About Opportunity

Looking for a change of career, but need that all important experience? Have some spare time and would like to put it to good use? Then perhaps we can help each other. Youth-link's groupwork service - Kids Unlimited offer 'time out' and fun based activities for young people aged 9-13 whose lives are adversely affected by an illness or disability in the home. We run two age specific groups per week, between 6pm and 8pm, and are looking for volunteers who can help provide these often vulnerable and isolated young people with fun and support. Volunteers work with groups of up to 13 young people, encouraging them to develop and participate in a programme of games and activities.
