About Opportunity

A volunteer with St Andrews Ambulance gains excellent first aid training and more specific training in areas such as anafalaxis and defibulation. This opportunity would suit someone who has an interest in first aid or for someone who would like a career in hospitals.

About St Andrews Ambulance Corp

To raise awareness of Health & Safety and to provide traioning to volunteers on basic first aid and more specific training on life saving practices .To provide emergency first aid cover at local public events.

Skills & Experience

A willingness to work in all weathers and at weekends

Travel Details

Training takes place in Dalmellington, duties take place at public open events in and around Doon Valley

Restrictions

Junior section starts at 10years volunteers retire

Requirements

Induction/Training, Police Check, Trial Period

Training and Induction Details

Volunteer will have probation period of 1year before they are left on their own to deal with a situation Specialised trainig in various areas will be accredited and is available to all volunteers
