About Opportunity

Volunteers will be trained to give information and support for those affected by eating disorders, their carers and their friends. This is done by the setting up of self help groups, or by acting as Postal or Telephone Contacts. An understanding of eating disorders is preferable. Volunteers do not have to have had an eating disorder themselves. However, where this is the case , volunteers must be recovered for at least 18 months.
