About Opportunity
The opportunities are many and varied;- from taking charge of a unit, helping each week as a unit helper, managing a team of adult volunteers, passing on your existing skills (e.g. First Aid, sailing, hill walking, catering etc) on an intermittent basis, joining a support group or helping with administration and publication of newsletters. Whatever your skills or preference, Girlguiding Dumfriesshire will find a place for you to help enrich the lives of girls and young women.

About Dumfriesshire Guide Association
Girlguiding believes a weekly programme of activities to girls and young women (5 -26 years old). Girlguiding offers a wide range of flexible volunteering opportunties for adults interested in working with us. A training programme equips you to take on which ever task is most suited to your skills and experience.

Training and Induction Details
If volunteer is to be a leader she will be expected to undertake our adult leadership qualification - modular trainings take place for other volunteers and leaders throughout the year. A support network exists.
