About Kinross-shire Volunteer Group and Rural Outreach Scheme
We provide a variety of services - transport to local health centres and to various hospitals ranging from Dundee, Perth, Kirkaldy, Dunfermline and Edinburgh. We take our service users shopping and to visit relatives in hospital, befriend them and generally act as "good neighbours". Many are elderly/disabled and our service enables them to use facilities to which they would otherwise have no access. Volunteers use their own cars and expenses are paid. Volunteers must reside within Kinross-shire
Skills & Experience
Experienced driver. Own insurance company must be notified that volunteer driving is being undertaken. Travel expenses are paid but not regarded as hire and reward. Kind, caring, lots of patience, lots of spare time, flexibility
