About Opportunity

Volunteers will meet up regularly with Parkinson's sufferers and their families in a social setting, and also assist in the running of the group. groups meet on tuesday and thursday.

To offer information and advice relatinve to the condition To improve knowledge and understanding of the condition. To offer support to sufferers and carers. Offer information on accessing services and benifits. Offer respite to carers. Promote social incluision.

Travel Details

Alexander Resource Centre, Coatbridge. Weekly drop in centre at Gartlea Community Centre, Airdrie.

Training and Induction Details

Trained volunteers will work alongside new volunteers. Experienced volunteers are regularly offered training opportunities
